Mary applies her passion for empowering others to lead and engage her team of skilled social workers, financial counselors and financial educators in our mission to strengthen families and individuals who seek to improve the quality of their lives. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering for local animal rescue organizations as a foster “parent”.
As our Client Service Representative, Ruby is “Chief of First Impressions”. She is often the first person you will talk with when you contact Coaching and Financial Wellness. She attended Miami University where she majored in Business Administration. Before joining LifeSpan, Ruby was a Benefits Representative in the insurance industry where she also applied her attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
Angelic started her career with LifeSpan in 1999 as a Home Health Aide and transitioned to working as a Benefit Advocate / Independent Living Assistant where she continued her work with older residents of Butler County. Angelic has also worked as Social Service/Volunteer Coordinator with our Guardianship program, where she used her expertise with benefit applications to assist guardians and their clients. Angelic brings her expertise with benefit application processes and direct client service to her role as ILA Team Lead. In her free time, Angelic enjoys sewing and taking care of her primates.
Jennifer joined LifeSpan in 2014 where she served as a Nationally Certified Guardian. She has since transitioned into the role of Life Coach and is very excited to support families and individuals in this new capacity. She graduated from Miami University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Sociology and went on to attend Graduate School at Liberty University where she studied Professional Counseling. Jennifer has multiple years of experience in crisis intervention, counseling, and case management.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her children and family, taking and instructing a variety of dance classes, and exploring the outdoors.
Sonja joins us with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from Ohio University as well as a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati. Her 20 plus years of experience within Social Services has spanned mental health case management, to elderly services to social services for underprivileged children. She believes strongly in making sure that all people are treated fairly and guided in a non-judgemental manner.
Tiffani is a Certified Consumer Credit Counselor (CCCC) & Certified Student Loan Counselor (CSLC). She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a focus in social psychology from Trinity (Washington) University in Washington D.C. Before working at LifeSpan, Tiffani was a Financial Stability Assistance/ Ohio Benefit Bank Counselor and Housing Coach. As a Financial Counselor and Educator, Tiffani provides individuals with various financial options to help improve their livelihood in a manner that supports their personal goals.
Krista has been with LifeSpan since the fall of 2018. She graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2013 with a degree in Psychology. Krista brings her case management experience with mental health and substance abuse to help clients with their benefit assistance. In her free time, Krista enjoys going to concerts, watching movies and spending time with her husband and three kids.
Angela is a Certified Consumer Credit Counselor (CCCC). She earned her Business Management degree from CCU and is certified in Radio & TV Broadcasting. Angela is experienced with mentoring, facilitating and job coaching. Prior to joining LifeSpan, Angela planned and implemented programs for various nonprofits, and has 10 years of experience in the financial industry. Angela has a passion for teaching, coaching, and helping others thrive & grow to achieve their goals. She believes that every step taken is a step forward in overcoming obstacles and leads to positive progress towards success. Angela also is a writer, singer and resides in Cincinnati with her son.
Celeste has been with LifeSpan since the beginning of 2018. She studied social work and psychology at the University of Cincinnati. She is certified as a licensed social worker and volunteer administrator. Celeste has experience with Adult Protective Services and the National Senior Corps Program.
In her free time, Celeste enjoys writing fictional mystery novellas, reading and playing with her 3 dogs.
Lisa has provided advocacy and support for others over the past 28 years and with LifeSpan’s Guardianship program leading a team, including staff and volunteers, for over six years. As a National Master Guardian providing the highest quality of decision making is Lisa’s goal; including coordination with all supports in the community. Lisa is also a member of the National Guardianship Association and board member of the Ohio Guardianship Association. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys volunteering for various community opportunities including hospice care.
Tierrah has been with LifeSpan since 2014. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2008 with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology with a concentration in BioPsychology. She is a National Certified Guardian (NCG). Tierrah Mayfield has several years of experience as an adult mental health case manager.
In her free time, Tierrah enjoys watching and playing a variety of different sports.
Tammy has been with LifeSpan since 1995. She graduated from Southern Ohio College in 1983 with a Diploma in Administrative WP Specialist. She has experience working with clients with mental health and developmental disabilities. In this position, she works closely with management, Staff Guardians, Probate Courts and personnel, lawyers, and other outside agencies.
In her free time, Tammy enjoys family time, long walks and good books.
Adrian has been with LifeSpan since 2017. She graduated from Miami University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She is certified as a Licensed Social Worker. Adrian has experience with Butler County’s Adult Protective Service and Probate Court. In her free time, Adrian enjoys time with family and volunteering at the local animal shelter.
Allison has been with LifeSpan since 2018. She graduated from Miami University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies. She is certified as Notary of Public, Butler County, Ohio. Allison has 11 years of experience in Adult Mental Health and Chronic Medical Health Condition Case Management.
In her free time, Allison enjoys reading and being active outside.
Aaron has been with LifeSpan since 2016. He graduated from Ohio State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. Aaron has experience serving as a legal guardian and working with individuals with various disabilities. In his free time, Aaron enjoys watching and participating in many sports and recreational activities and volunteering to take an individual with special needs into the community.
Michelle has been with LifeSpan since winter 2018. She graduated from Miami University in 2016 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Social Work, a minor in Sociology and extra studies in Psychology. She is certified as a Licensed Social Worker. Michelle has experience working with guardians and their loved ones as a Court Investigator and Social Worker in Butler County Probate Court, volunteered as an Intervention Communicator with the Crisis/Suicide hotline, a mentor for foster children through Butler Behavioral Health Services and volunteered in an after-school program at Trinity Church. She is passionate about working with vulnerable and at-risk populations.
In her free time, Michelle enjoys going to auctions, camping, fishing, and other outdoor activities and spending time with her grandchildren.
Faith has been with LifeSpan since summer of 2018. She graduated from Miami University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, Bachelor of Science in Social Work, and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Applied Science. Prior to working with LifeSpan, Faith completed internships with the Butler County Probate Court and One Way Farm, a local children’s group home. Although new to the LifeSpan community, Faith continues to enjoy learning from her peers and the community at large. Faith has had this passion and the drive to help diverse populations in need at a young age.
Faith enjoys spending time with her family and in her free time likes to work with adolescent children developing teachable moments.
Melody has over 10 years experience in the mental health and developmentally disabled field. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology from Fort Hays State University and will graduate in May with her Masters in Business Administration and a Masters in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Gerontology. She is a Nationally Certified Guardian through the National Guardianship Association.
