Older adults and sometimes family or friends who help care for them often have questions about how to find services or resources that can improve their lives, but they are not sure where to turn for answers. It is good to know that LifeSpan provides an Information and Referral service that offers lots of answers; the service costs nothing and starts with just one phone call.
The number to call is 513-868-9281 or toll-free to 1-800-215-5305.
Answering that call will be a member of LifeSpan’s team of nurses and social workers who have more than 40 years combined experience assisting older adults. Their extensive knowledge of the services and resources available to older adults enables them to:
- Answer questions that can range from how to find bill-paying assistance to caregiver support groups.
- Connect callers who have more complicated questions with programs and services available in the community.
LifeSpan’s Information and Referral team has achieved specialized certification through the Alliance of Information & Referral Systems and this enables them to respond quickly and correctly to the hundreds of questions they receive each month from callers.
