Clinical Counseling
LifeSpan was founded in 1945 to offer counseling for those struggling to meet challenges in their lives and it continues to be a vital, core service of the organization. Personal or family challenges can have a ripple effect, negatively impacting workplaces, schools and communities. When these challenges are addressed through counseling, the positive results flow into a wider circle creating stronger families and communities.

Compassionate therapists can assist children, adolescents and adults with behavioral health issues. LifeSpan therapists are independently licensed and hold a minimum of a master’s degree. They use a “recovery model” of therapy to help clients analyze their issues and develop methods to overcome their problems. For those clients needing more intensive, medication based treatment, board certified psychiatrists are available as well.

The outpatient behavioral health services program is accredited by the internationally recognized Council on Accreditation.
